Blog Post three

Get out of your head and into your body…

-start a veggie or flower garden. it can consist of a couple of plants or enough to cut flowers or freeze some food. nurture it, watch it grow, enjoy it. Once it begins growing, then you get to weed... bending, moving, solving the world's problems or thinking of nothing.

-walk, run, swim, dance. move.

-volunteer. you know the spill and it is true. you get back more than you give.

-rake your own yard... then run through the leaves. felt good as a child, still feels good as an adult.

-pick up sticks. same exercise that you pay for in a class.

-always use the stairs. cardio and green.

-get out your camera. walk outside and find something that interests you. take a picture of it. take ten pictures of it from different angles. i saw a butterfly and chased it all over our yard. it took me quite a few pictures, but i was more proud of that picture than anything I have taken in a while.

-put a swing or glider in your yard or on your porch. If you don’t have one, place a chair outside. Sit in this swing or chair at least three times a week for ten minutes and do.............nothing!

-or sit down in your swing or chair and read a book, a paper outside because VITAMIN C and O2!

-yoga, breathing, stretching. whatever you want to call it, just try it for a WEEK. your body will thank you, your mind will thank you, your family will thank you.

-change something in your diet each week or each month, change slowly so it will last. create success and positivity.

-call someone different once a week, just to tell them that you love them.
